Early LITERACY Screenings

Identifying potential reading, writing and spelling challenges is crucial to getting the early intervention that offers the best outcomes. Rather that “wait and see” we can check out the “pre-reading” skills that lead to reading and spelling acquisition. Families with a history of dyslexia can find out whether or not their child’s phonological skills are on the right track—and if they are not, what can be done to improve them. Early identification can preserve self-esteem and a love for reading.
